FEELING HURT AND FRUSTRATED

I know that being dyslexic can be hard, especially when you want so badly to succeed in life, get the job you want and get good grades, only to be told that you’re not good enough.

Many times this has happened in my life. I felt down, depressed and have felt at times that I am worthless and misunderstood and judged incorrectly. Most people don’t understand the word dyslexia and see it as a disadvantage. But that is not true. There  are many dyslexics out there that have made a good living and living their dreams. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER

It is said that you should never judge a book by its cover, although this is what always happens in society.Being different causes some kind of a scene, we all judge on a daily basis, whether we want to or not but next time that you judge someone remember that you could be judged worse.I have been judged throughout my life as lazy, dumb, stupid, slow, retarded and below average. This is not to do with the fact that my family are working class, oh no, it’s because I am dyslexic. The funny thing is that as a child I was abused both by teachers, family and friends calling me names and being bullied for being different.
